Diwali or Deepavali is known as removing the darkness and bringing brightness into our life. Diwali is an annual festival celebrated by Hindus in commemoration of Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. This year, Diwali will be celebrated on October 20, 2025. In preparation for the festival, people clean and decorate their homes, offices, and shops to welcome prosperity and good fortune. Rows of lamps and colorful lights illuminate homes, streets, and workplaces, while families gather to exchange sweets and offer prayers to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha for blessings of happiness and wealth.
