About CPSC

The Colombo Plan Staff College for Technician Education (CPSC) is an Inter-governmental International Organization for Human Resources Development. It aims to assist its member countries in developing and enhancing their technical education systems.

CPSC maintains the active membership of 16 countries that are provided with capacity-building programs in technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

The main functions of CPSC include:
  • Provide training programs of further professional education and training to persons responsible for the planning, development, administration, and supervision of TVET and persons in key supporting roles;
  • Conduct conferences, symposia, and workshops on various aspects of TVET;
  • Manage customized programs on TVET planning, development, and evaluation;
  • Undertake research and development projects for knowledge sharing and benchmarking in TVET;
  • Assist member countries in developing their technical teacher education and training facilities;
  • Collect and disseminate information on technical education and training; and
  • Act as a facilitator of member countries in the transformation of the TVET framework by modifying the training and development strategies, program offerings, and research and development efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Multimedia Artist

The Multimedia Artist is responsible for the development of graphic designs for various publications and video presentations of the Staff College.

Specific Duties
  • Create design and layout program book covers, banners, seminar brochures, certificates, IDs, and nameplates;
  • Create cover designs and layout content of books, conference proceedings, quarterly publications, journals, etc. for printing or e-book format;
  • Create cover designs and layout content of periodic reports (midyear, annual, biennial), yearly operational plan, and/or other management documents;
  • Perform photo and video documentation of programs and other activities;
  • Create video production for promotional activities and training programs;
  • Maintain accessible and systematic archiving of all photos and video materials;
  • Assist in printing and production of program books and materials;
  • Provide support in other ICT related activities and tasks, as may be assigned;
  • Provide technical support during the conduct of programs;
  • Provide support as a program assistant and/or study/cultural visits guide, as may be assigned;
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Diploma in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia Development, Creative Arts, and other related fields with at least 1-year relevant working experience; or a University Degree in related fields.
  • University fresh graduates with impressive portfolios are welcome to apply.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience and working knowledge in basic computers and network troubleshooting is an advantage

  • Proficient in computer applications and systems, particularly Adobe Creative Suites, and other multimedia applications
  • Knowledge in the photo and video editing
  • Ability to read, speak and write in the English Language

Remuneration and Benefits

  • Starting gross monthly salary: Php 26,000 to Php 31,000 depending on the applicant’s qualifications
